International Collaboration
China New Higher Education Group prioritises both reform and innovation and strives to expand international collaboration and exchange. The Group promotes international collaboration in terms of teacher visits, resource sharing, academic exchanges, student research, educational advancement, internships and employment.
The Group has signed intercollegiate partnership agreements with more than 70 well-known overseas universities, including Harvard University, in more than 20 countries, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Australia, South Korea, Spain, Belarus, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. In its partnerships with these overseas institutions, the Group has made significant achievements in overseas study, short-term study, international exchange and joint education at all levels for both teachers and students.
In recent years, the Group has arranged for a large number of students and teachers to study abroad. For example, the Group’s Yunnan School won the Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship for international students, and it is the only private school in Yunnan province that has won the scholarship for two consecutive years. The Yunnan School has also entered into a partnership agreement with Chinese Testing International (CTI) to serve as a national HSK testing centre.
The Group has also been actively preparing for the simulated United Nations project in collaboration with the China Scholarship Council (CSC) under the MOE, and it is introducing international high-quality educational resources in its effort to build an international university in the Hainan Free Trade Zone. The Group is committed to expanding the space for international education and improving the standard of education.
